I'm awake!

Friday, August 06, 2004

I dragged myself out of bed a little past 12:30pm. I slept the last day and a half away. This cycle is taking so much out of me. I am quite amazed I was able to sleep at all with the way its been. And the demon has NOT left the building yet. I can feel him lurking in the shadows. I thought he may have exited through the back door, un-noticed, for a couple hours this afternoon. But no such luck. He must have went to the concession. Inflicting pain must take alot out of him. It's certainly taking everything out of me.

I'm tempted to lay down before it all starts again. The weather isn't helping. It pissed rain all day and now there is a risk of thunderstorms. Thunderstorms were one of my favourite things to listen to. They still are. However, now I associate them with pain... like all weather changes.

If the pain will stay away for a few hours tonight then I can get a good start on my website. I have been putting it off for so long. It is something I really want to do but life seems to get in the way. Not in a bad way... just not enough hours in a chronic's day.

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

Medical terminology can cause confusion at the best of times. If there is a word you do not understand all you have to do is double-click on it and the definition will appear! Don't forget to drop me a line by email at versilleus@gmail.com with your comments, questions‚ recommended resources‚ concerns‚ & especially your experiences with clusters. Or come find me on my Facebook Profile to add me as a Friend. Whether you are a supporter‚ care-giver or sufferer. I would love to hear from you!

*Please do not use this information for self diagnoses. Writing about my experiences with chronic cluster headaches & epilepsy is a good outlet for me. Consult your Dr. with any kind of headache or chronic pain you may have. The 3rd party links on my site I have found to be a good resource to me over the past few years & dearly hope they will benefit you as well.*
