Weird Day

First of all, I woke up incredibly late. A little after 12pm. Not exactly sure why I slept so late. Probably a combination of mental exhaustion from fighting, physical exhausting from starting to intensifying my workouts and taking my sleeping pill so late last night. I must have needed the rest. Though I did feel a bit out of sorts today. I was only up in body. My mind was still curled up in bed. Mindy told me that I was snoring quite loudly(as if there is a quiet snorer:). Enough to wake her up. I must have really been out.

Secondly, I have found something that actually takes my mind off my attacks. Video games. Go figure. Haven't really played them in years. Off and on every now and again but now they completely take my mind off clusters. Sometime too much flashing forces me to stop. Strange how it works.

Since day one I have tried everything recommended by the Mayo Clinic, various authors, websites, doctors, acquaintances, meddling idiots and well wishers. Prior to my new revelation drawing worked wonders for me. Not any good at it but still enjoy pulling out my charcoal from time to time. I love sitting in the sun with my pad.

Games don't work during a bad attack, nothing does. However, it distracts enough to deal with the pain. Beats pacing, stuck with my own thoughts. This is a HUGE epiphany for me. I going to try to work out what works best for minizing pain. The less I think about it, the less pain I should be in. I have narrowed it down to games that require strategy and comprehension. Not just blow everything up. I'll probably over-analyze this. I can never just accept things. Need to know why, how, what and when.

Mindy made me a Moderater at her site http://freebies.4.forumer.com/ for the computer section. Come by to see all the Freebies companies are will to sending you!

Medical terminology can cause confusion at the best of times. If there is a word you do not understand all you have to do is double-click on it and the definition will appear! Don't forget to drop me a line by email at versilleus@gmail.com with your comments, questions‚ recommended resources‚ concerns‚ & especially your experiences with clusters. Or come find me on my Facebook Profile to add me as a Friend. Whether you are a supporter‚ care-giver or sufferer. I would love to hear from you!

*Please do not use this information for self diagnoses. Writing about my experiences with chronic cluster headaches & epilepsy is a good outlet for me. Consult your Dr. with any kind of headache or chronic pain you may have. The 3rd party links on my site I have found to be a good resource to me over the past few years & dearly hope they will benefit you as well.*
