An Excellent Book!

A couple of weeks back I took a leisurely walk to my local library and came across a new book on chronic pain called Living with Chronic Pain: The Complete Health Guide to the Causes and Treatment of Chronic Pain by Jennifer P. Scheider‚ M.D.‚ PH.D.. Now I hate to say after awhile some of these chronic pain books have the same regurgitated information in them. How some of them get published is beyond me. I decided to add it to my long list of reading material not knowing whether or not I could find the time. Luckily after skipping a couple of duds this was the next in line. Now there is no mention of cluster headaches in this book. It focuses more on chronic pain in general and how to live with it. Definately beneficial for chronics like me where nothing seems to work. The book seems to have to covered all the bases. Medications types‚ causes‚ personality types & how each type adapts & how best to support them‚ alternative treatments‚ and so on is covered. Sure wish this book came out sooner! I was impressed by it. A chronic sufferer can never have too much material. Especially when it is this well done. Read on!
