I Danced All Night

Monday, April 11, 2005

The devil once again kept me restless and irratable for another night. For those who are curious the phrase 'the devil' refers a colourful nickname given to cluster headaches by clusterheads and not the biblical sense of the term. The pain was duller than normal. Yet it was enough to prevent me from any sort of decent sleep I desparately desire. Part of the problem was my arms would go numb as the result of my neck positioned at variest angles. Very scary sensation or lack of sensation I should say. The positions which allowed me to feel my extremeties were at the very least not comfortable enough to enjoy the sandman's prescense for a few hours. My dr. says my neck situation is probably another issue I will just have to deal with. Not being able to move ones upper body is more that an issue I think. Oh well add it to my 'get fixed' list.

Medical terminology can cause confusion at the best of times. If there is a word you do not understand all you have to do is double-click on it and the definition will appear! Don't forget to drop me a line by email at versilleus@gmail.com with your comments, questions‚ recommended resources‚ concerns‚ & especially your experiences with clusters. Or come find me on my Facebook Profile to add me as a Friend. Whether you are a supporter‚ care-giver or sufferer. I would love to hear from you!

*Please do not use this information for self diagnoses. Writing about my experiences with chronic cluster headaches & epilepsy is a good outlet for me. Consult your Dr. with any kind of headache or chronic pain you may have. The 3rd party links on my site I have found to be a good resource to me over the past few years & dearly hope they will benefit you as well.*
