Happy Father's Day!

Sunday, June 19, 2005

I hope the Dads out there are enjoying their special day.

Wow. Since my new found freedom from clusters there is not enough hours in the day. There has been so many things I have missed. I am even smiling! That might not be as big deal to you but expressing enjoyment outwardly is an experience I have almost forgotten. Mindy is quick to point out when laugh or crack a grin. Apparently it is rarely than I tend to believe. Maybe now I can change that. I am notice little things like a good cup of coffee and a hot bath to ease the stiffness away from a night of seizures. (Yes, I still have them. For now.) It used to be a shower and coffee but the bath is more of a lifestyle adjustment. I have one when I get up and when I feel the onset of an attack. Sometimes that will stop them or at the very least put it off for a little while. Just enough time to find an ice pack or 2.

Medical terminology can cause confusion at the best of times. If there is a word you do not understand all you have to do is double-click on it and the definition will appear! Don't forget to drop me a line by email at versilleus@gmail.com with your comments, questions‚ recommended resources‚ concerns‚ & especially your experiences with clusters. Or come find me on my Facebook Profile to add me as a Friend. Whether you are a supporter‚ care-giver or sufferer. I would love to hear from you!

*Please do not use this information for self diagnoses. Writing about my experiences with chronic cluster headaches & epilepsy is a good outlet for me. Consult your Dr. with any kind of headache or chronic pain you may have. The 3rd party links on my site I have found to be a good resource to me over the past few years & dearly hope they will benefit you as well.*
