Time to Relax

Here it is, 3 a.m. and I am not up with a cluster! Where's Guiness when you need them? This past month has been a strange one. Probably the most pain-free I have been in the past 3 and half years. Not to say I haven't had one here and there. Just the frequency has been incredible low. I have gone days without one. The cycles are far shorter. A couple of days at most. For example the past week here in Vancouver we have had short episodes of sunshine, downpours, thunder, lightning, wind, and wicked unstable air pressure. All things that cause me to cry. Well, not because of them but my cluster bouts tend to be extremely intense during periods like this. However, this cycle has been exceptionally mild with the peak in the last couple of nights. Today only one cluster came to visit. It was even mild enough to sleep it off. In the past 12 hours I have had none. Zip. Zero. Nada. Not even so much as a shadow at the my normal 12 hour intervals of 1-3am/pm. Go figure. At this rate I may even begin to be able to deal with them like someone who cares what the days brings. One step at a time.

With any luck I will FINALLY be able to sit down and work on my blog. I have wanted for ages to add more information rather than using it solely as an outlet to vent on. It could do with a redesign too. Seems like everytime I want to sit down and work on it something comes up. Ahh such is life.

Look, I donvt want to wax philosophic, but I will say that if you're alive youv've got to flap your arms and legs, you've got to jump around a lot, for life is the very opposite of death, and therefore you must at very least think noisy and colorfully, or you're not alive.

Medical terminology can cause confusion at the best of times. If there is a word you do not understand all you have to do is double-click on it and the definition will appear! Don't forget to drop me a line by email at versilleus@gmail.com with your comments, questions‚ recommended resources‚ concerns‚ & especially your experiences with clusters. Or come find me on my Facebook Profile to add me as a Friend. Whether you are a supporter‚ care-giver or sufferer. I would love to hear from you!

*Please do not use this information for self diagnoses. Writing about my experiences with chronic cluster headaches & epilepsy is a good outlet for me. Consult your Dr. with any kind of headache or chronic pain you may have. The 3rd party links on my site I have found to be a good resource to me over the past few years & dearly hope they will benefit you as well.*
